The Grammy-nominated show “Invincible” has a total of three seasons, an hour per episode and some of the best writing I've ever seen on a TV show. In season three, an episode in particular even has the second-highest IMDb rating in TV show history.
“Invincible” is about a kid named Mark whose dad is a superhero named Omni-Man, a Viltrumite sent to Earth to conquer it. In the TV show, a Viltrumite is an alien whose goal is to conquer the entire universe by claiming planets for the Viltrumite Empire. In the first episode, Mark gets his powers. The first episode opens up with Omni-Man killing a group of superheroes, which sets off the rest of the show. This season was filled with fight scenes and Mark almost getting killed all the time, but other than that, the season was very slow, with a good chunk of it being about Omni-Man leaving Earth and trying to hide that he killed a superhero group named the Guardians of the Globe.
The second season was my favorite, starting with Mark going into space, Mark getting a new brother who's a purple alien, an alien named Allen trying to find out how to kill the Viltrumites, and Omni-Man going to prison. I enjoyed this season because it was entertaining, especially with Allen the alien going around space getting beaten up by Viltrumites. What I especially liked about this season was all the secrets behind the scenes, with some form of government agency forming a superhero team and fighting the Viltrumites.

The third season had one of the best episodes in TV show history, although the first couple of episodes were hard to get through. The beginning of season three felt like it was filled with just pointless details to make the show last longer, like Mark's best friend being good at bowling or Mark changing his superhero suit. Once the show got to the part involving the Viltrumites, it felt like I couldn't stop watching. The last episode was the best episode I've ever seen in my life. The fighting scene was perfect, and the villain in the episode was so interesting. The villain was an old Viltimite named Conquest, who almost killed every superhero on Earth and left Invincible in shambles. After watching all three seasons, I can confidently say that this is one of the best TV shows I’ve seen. The show is very gory and sometimes hard to sit through, especially watching all of Mark's relationship problems throughout the show. It did have some amazing qualities like the soundtrack, the animation, the storyline and most of all the fight scenes. I would recommend that anyone, even if you're into movies, rom-coms, documentaries or anything else, go watch the show. With the animation, writing and characters I can confidently say it is one of the best TV shows I've ever seen, and I can't wait for season four next year.
